Events at Makarska Riviera in 2020

Staying at Makarska Riviera this summer could be the best thing that ever happened to you. Thanks to the unfortunate Covid-19 outbreak, the beaches are less crowded, the tours are easier to book, and the events are more concentrated on local artists presenting their talents. This means that, in a way, you have even more options than usual. And you can get more events and deals for less money and trouble.

Makarska Cultural Summer has already begun and it will last until August 30th. It will mostly focus on Dalmatian acapella singing groups, with some big music stars also giving performances (Massimo, Frajle, Vlatko Stefanovski, etc.) The program also includes a number of theater plays and art exhibitions, but also music festivals like Makarska Jazz Fest, Metno festival, and Festival of acapella groups and guitars. The brand new event that will be introduced this year, and hopefully will grow throughout the years is the first Festival of Classical Music. Big things are happening!
